My mom cooks. Most days. Very good. Most days.
She is considered as a reference for her family and friends, not only in Lebanese dishes, but she seems to have an innate savoir-faire and picky palate that knows what goes with what and how to perfectly mix the ingredients, without even considering it a talent, it is just so obvious to her that this is the way to cook this octopus, those snails, or this simple pasta.
Be it for the hungry family after work/school, or for 30 friends invited over for diner, there is a certain enthusiasm and care given while serving every meal.
I will try to share photos of some dishes here. She liked the idea ;-) as it will also remind her/us of previously cooked delights, making an archive of our favorites.
